Wake The Rock!

The weather has finally cooled off a bit here in Kansai, making it possible to skate in jeans once again. My shins and ankles are grateful.

Junji- back tail up

I met up with Bug, Joe, and Soundboarding’s Junji at Osaka Pool for a Sunday sesh. Everyone was a little partied out, so it was a pretty relaxed day. We probably spent more time sitting around laughing about encounters with color-ball wielding convenience store clerks and naming a Japanese rock event than actually skating, but it was fun nonetheless. Junji took us to a few spots near the Trade Center, including a really fun rooftop spot and a pretty gnarly bank spot next to a stagnant river (good times!). We ended up moving on and skating Nakanoshima until late in the evening.

Haha, the first photo is hilarious! 🙂

Can’t believe I missed this. Pipe down the bank looks like fun. Next week maybe?

Yeah, that picture of Joe and Bug kills me.

I’m definitely down to hit up that roof top spot again. I’ve got some unfinished business!
