Bloody Sundays Ep. 9 – Brazil

Last Sunday was indeed a bloody Sunday. We went to Brazil in Osaka and got eaten alive by mosquitoes. I was actually bloody on my limbs from exploded mosquitoes. It was horrible I tells ya; horrible.

Exactly six months earlier an earthquake devastated northeastern Japan, which led to the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear accident. It also marked tens years since the September eleventh attacks on the United States. However there was no bumming allowed that day. Steaming rich creamy stoke was passed around by the bowlful.

Status began in 2010 as a simple way to share skate photos taken in Kansai, Japan. We now have three contributors producing bilingual content about skateboarding in Japan and elsewhere.
