Andrew Allen

Definitely one of my favourite skateboarders to fully emerge over the past few years. Really like his style and trick selection.
He manages to be tech without anyone noticing and his switch stuff is ridiculous – switch front blunt shuvs on decent round handrails !!
Weirdly people bitch about him being ‘fat’… he’s not even close. (Teenage messageboard boys have an anorexic fetish.)
Anyway he ticks my boxes (ooh err) – namely: skates fast; good front-shuvs; backside bigspins; wallies; switches it up; makes simple yet gnarly stuff look rad.

Backside flipkick.

I love Devo.

Anti-Hero have the best ads. Closely followed by Enjoi (at least when Marc Johnson was at the helm).

Part from 411 when it tried to survive…

Don’t try this at home kids.

The first switch ollie is ludicrous, the way he hangs on to it. Best part in the Thrasher / Cons video.

Beefy ollie… fat boy.

If he went end to end this photo is sick. If he didn’t I feel cheated by arty B&W.

    Now that’s more like it.
I love the first ollie in that 411 clip. He wasn’t even close to clearing the final set but stuck it anyway. His Prevent this Tragedy part is just awesome. Another great intro; an epic trick followed by an epic slam.

And that first ollie is switch in the 411 clip. Reckless commitment for our viewing pleasure.

Joe, you seem to have stretched his Transworld photo to make him look fat. Also you labeled it “fat boy”. You’re not a teenage messageboard boy with an anorexic fetish are you? 😉

Yes I am… God, I love Dylan in his ripped, low-v-neck shirts… he’s a babe. Andrew Allen however is a big fat munter.

Status began in 2010 as a simple way to share skate photos taken in Kansai, Japan. We now have three contributors producing bilingual content about skateboarding in Japan and elsewhere.

STATUSは2010年に神戸とその周辺のスケートフォトを共有する手段として始まった。 現在は三人でスケートボーディングに関係あることを二カ国語で書いている。
